How it works

Ready to sell in a few minutes.

Four steps to your first sale. After that, your records are written for you.

  1. 1

    Create your account

Your phone number and a code by SMS, or Google, or Apple. It takes a few minutes. No card is needed.

  2. 2

Name the business and say what kind it is

Choose a username that customers can find you by. Say what kind of business you run, and Meku is set up for it: expiry dates for a pharmacy, bookings for a guesthouse, recipes for a bakery, invoices for a consultant, and a simple POS for a shop.

  3. 3

    Add what you sell

Type your items, or upload the spreadsheet you already have, and all your products arrive at once. Services are items too.

  4. 4

    Sell

Tap the item, then tap where the money went. The stock, the customer's record, the account balance and your profit are updated at the same moment. From now on, Meku does the rest.

Then, when you are ready

You do not need any of this on the first day. Each one takes a few minutes when you want it.

Invite your staff

Each staff gets a login that opens only what their work needs. Every sale shows their name.

Add your accounts

Cash box, M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa and bank, each with a balance that changes as you sell and spend.

Set the bills that repeat

Rent, salaries and licences. Set them once, and they are recorded on the day they are due.

Go online

Meku MRS · Hospitals and clinics

Do you run a clinic?

Meku MRS keeps your patient records and connects them to Meku Business. Every test and medicine the doctor orders is paid at the cashier before the lab or the pharmacy gives it. NHIF prices, claims and payouts are included.
